53rd Weather Recon. Sq. - Hurricane Hunters - # - Clifford W. Martin's Photographs

In 2009, a C-130J plane belonging to the 53rd Weather Recon. Sq., "Hurricane Hunt...ers" visited Falcon Field in Peachtree City, GA. This is one of the Air Force Reserve Squadron's planes that they use to gather data on Hurricanes and other weather events.

As you can see in some of the photos, there was a very large crowd of people who showed up to tour the plane. The wait to walk through the plane was about an hour and half, all day long.
