Crusin For A Cause @ Atlanta Motor Speedway, 6/16/2012
I was in the area of Atlanta Motor Speedway, visiting the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation, when I heard race cars going around the track at AMS. So I decided to go across the street and see what was happening. I was allowed into the infield area and Pit Road. There was a group from SpeedTech500 at AMS, doing some race car driving training and testing. Then all of a sudden about 100 motorcycles came driving into the pits area and lining up to run around the track.
I was able to find out that the motorcycles were part of a group called 'Crusin For A Cause' and were doing a charity ride to benefit Shining Light Ministries. I was allowed out to the other side of pit road, on the grass area between pit road and the race track, to photograph the motorcycle riders as they went around the track. This gallery contains those photos, as well as other photos from my visit to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, 6/16/2012.
